For years, the DJH has attached great importance to sustainability in practice - in its strategic orientation as well as in its daily actions. By joining, the association is sending a further signal for its sustainable commitment and cross-border cooperation in the Baltic Sea region. This is about much more than a visible commitment to sustainability: In all youth hostels in the BoB region (Lübeck, Scharbeutz, Dahme, Fehmarn, Plön and Malente), separate BoB campaigns are being considered. In the future, other youth hostels will be added in the course of the project. Young guests in particular are to be inspired and networked – through practical knowledge transfer and extracurricular experience spaces. Many valuable encounters and joint projects will thus provide new impetus for a strong Baltic Sea community. More
